SOP For Dust Collector Of Compression Machine

Standard Operating Procedure for Dust collector of compression Machine.

1.0 Purpose

The purpose of this SOP is to develop a standard procedure for operating the dust collector of a compression machine.

2.0 Scope

This SOP is applicable to the dust collectors used in the compression areas of the production section.

3.0 Responsibility

3.1 Machine Operator is responsible for operating the Dust Collector.

3.2 Production Pharmacist is responsible for the implementation of this SOP.

3.3 The HOP is responsible for ensuring the implementation of this SOP.

3.4 Q.A Officer monitors the compliance of this SOP.

4.0 Procedure

4.1 Pharmacist will ensure that the Dust collector is properly cleaned & there is no powder from the previous product.

4.2 Pharmacist will ensure that the Dust collector, compression machine &  Area is labeled with Cleaned label status.

4.3 Before starting the working of the Dust Collector, attach product-related labels to the dust collector, compression machine & Area.

4.4 Take line clearance from the QA officer.

4.5 After line clearance, attach the suction pipe of the dust collector to the suction port of the compression machine.

4.6 Adjust the delayed run time of the dust collector & save the recipe, If the wire of the dust collector is connected to the compression machine so it will automatically turn On when the compression machine is operational.
